1. When it opens, I can only control the Windows cursor and not the game cursor. I have to go to the desktop and switch back to the game for it to work;
2. I cannot adjust in-game brightness levels;
3. The mouse movement is "laggy" both in-game and in the menu.
Other than that it works just fine...

quoted from anonymous :To everyone getting an error when they try to play c.o.d 2 multiplayer with vista......Simply plug a pair of headphones into the microphone jack...sounds odd I know but it worked for me with C.O.D. 2 and 4 so I hope this helps people out
it works but still has trouble loading , have to keep try and trying and eventually loads up still a hassle to load tho...

To fix the Black screen problem, here's what you do:
1. Right-Click on the COD2 Shortcut and Left-Click "Properties".
2. Click on the tab that says "Compatibility" at the top.
3. Click the box and select "Windows XP Service Pack 2".

Everyone who has a problem with PunkBuster kicks in multiplayer, should update PB manually. The best solution is to download PBsetup -> http://www.evenbalance.com/index.php?page=pbsetup.php . It's working on my Vista Home Premium 64 bit.

I have a 6600 Quadcore, 8800 GT and 4GB Ram. Have experienced slow loading issues but other than that it plays ok. Mind you its no better than it was on my old 2800XP and a 9600pro with 1 GB ram. My main gripe is l can't update to the 1.3 or above patch. The loader does not find the install directory or a valid key. In online play (which is all l do) punk buster constantly kicks me but fails to produce error logs as to why. My key is legal so thats not an issue. Either Microsoft or Activision should come up with a fix for this soon.
