Q: Does Chessmaster 7000 run on Windows 2000 or Windows NT?
A: No, Chessmaster 7000 does not support either of these platforms, nor does any previous version of Chessmaster for the PC. However, the next version of Chessmaster (tentatively titled Chessmaster 8000 and due out around November 2000) will support both of these platforms.

Received the follow messages:
1) Installed without problems and works fine.
2) The game runs but crashes easily in certain situations
3): It sort of works on one system and not at all on two others. "Sort of works" means that it starts but it crashes intermittently. It wouldn't even start on two different laptops running Win2k SP1 with the compatibility updates.
