Received the follow messages:
1) Stops at the loading screen
2) SP2 with Win 98 compatibility mode. Stops at the loading screen.

Works Fine, without any service packs or compatibility modes.

Works under WinXP RC2

If "i82stub.exe" exits when starting a mission and the error report mentions "aclayers.dll", this can be caused by the ACT3.0 (Application Compatibility Toolkit) automatically applying a fix for this game which actually breaks it.

To prevent the fix being applied, rename "i82stub.exe" to something different like "i82stubz.exe" and edit the shortcut which runs the game similarly. It ran fine under XP SP1 on my system after making that change.
