hello, i played heroes 2 on my pc which has windows xp on it.
it worked just fine yesterday, but now when i try to run the
game it says a very long error, however, it the error massege
starts like this: "error (2001): exception 0Dh (general protection fault)"
i have no idea why isnt it working any more, i tryied to run it
with VDMSound, but it still sends me the problem.
what else can i do?

You sure it worked before? How much did you play it before?

I don't have Heroes 2 but if it has a DOS4GW.EXE file in the game directory then you'll have to extract the archive and rename the files in the archive to DOS4GW.EXE....or simply rename your old DOS4GW to OLDOS4GW.
You could also try DOS32A instead of DOS4GW: http://vogons.zetafleet.com/viewtopic.php?t=7794
If anything I said is too technical then just download DosBox: Http://dosbox.sourceforge.net and run the game in that.

thx but i allready tryied it with dosbox, but it asks for a cd
when i do it with dosbox... thx again but i allready reinstalled
my windows xp lol and it works for me again as it did before
