Run the installer (7th Guest-disc 2) from a DOS window (Start/Run/Cmd), which copies the files to the c:\Id\t7g folder. Then copy the downloaded file's content (extracted from the t7gwinnv.zip file) to the c:\Id\t7g directory. Double-click "C:\ID\T7G\v32tng.exe" to run the game. Alt-Enter toggles between Full Screen & window.
Note: After solving any puzzle, you should then click "Farewell" to manually save the results. Otherwise, the game may randomly crash, and any previous results would be lost.

When I last played this on a 2000 (same applies for XP as well) system, I just copied the files off of both discs and used the beta directx t7g.exe file.

This file may be very hard to come by (it was a few years ago when I last looked) but I have it somewhere on my hard drive, and should you need it, I can send it to you, or upload it to my webspace and send you a PM with a link.

Let me know
