PC Stats posted a guide about Downgrading Windows Vista Back To Windows XP

"In this PCSTATS Beginners Guide we cover the many steps necessary to
either reverse an unfortunate upgrade to Windows Vista, or to re-install Windows XP on a brand new PC that came pre-installed with Vista. Sharpened wooden stakes, garlic and holy water are recommended, but not essential. First the unfortunate truth: There is no 'undo' button for getting rid of Windows Vista. Sadly, there is no easy way to go back to Windows XP as such... you'll either have to remove the entire operating system and start fresh with Windows XP, or do nothing at all."

Windows Vista: How to Speed up Windows Explorer in Vista
2008-12-21 10:23:23 Source: Email [ Print | 1 Comment(s) ]

OCModShop published a guide about speeding up Windows Explorer in Vista

"Windows Vista of course, has lots of extra features, which usually means you need a faster computer to keep the same speed as the previous generation. One of the most basic things people do with their comptuers is browse for files using Explorer. Sometimes you can think your comptuer is really slow, because Explorer is busy getting video or photo thumbnails, or doing other automatic things to "make your life easier"

Explorer can be made to display faster if you toggle some of these optional features off. The result of these tweaks mean your Vista computer will only work faster, at a cost of some eye candy."
