ASUS GTX550 Ti DirectCU TOP Review @ OCC
OCC has published a review on the ASUS GTX550 Ti DirectCU TOP

Temperatures were great the whole time and changing thermal paste shaved a few more degrees off. I tried for over 1300MHz on the memory, but I wasn't able to tune it to the maximum as it hard locked when testing at higher speeds. So I ran it with a fairly stable 1100MHz core and 1300MHz memory, earning first and third out of the whole group!

MSI N550GTX Ti 1GB Review @ OCC
OCC has published a review on the MSI N550GTX Ti 1GB

With the ability to adjust voltage, this opens up an entirely new world in the limits of overclocking this card, while keeping the temperatures within reason. I was able to get the MSI N550GTX-Ti to hold stable at 1051MHz on the core, 2224MHz on the shader, and 2560MHz on the memory - all which scaled very well. The MSI N550GTX-Ti actually obtained the highest core clock out of all the comparison cards and in the top five on memory. I was very impressed!

NVidia GeForce GTX550 Ti Video Card Review @ Ninjalane
Ninjalane has posted their review of the popular GTX 550 Ti. Product refreshes tend to happen in stages, typically this is done to help keep the new products fresh but also allows the engineers time to refine their designs and target potential customers. The famed nVidia 500 series is getting a new mid-range GPU added to the lineup called the GTX 550 Ti.

Today we'll be putting the N550GTX-Ti from MSI to the test, armed with the new Cyclone II cooler we expect no noise and excellent cooling. The full SKU name is N550GTX-Ti Cyclone II OC, as the card comes factory overclocked as well. We'll have a deeper look in the product gallery of course. As stated this card comes factory overclocked, from 900 towards 950 MHz. Extremely high frequencies .. but get this, we'll bring this card towards a whopping 1100 MHz today. So yeah, let's have a peek at what the GeForce GTX 550 Ti has in store for us.

MSI GeForce GTX 550 Ti 1GB Cyclone OC Review - GF116 Sees Daylight
It is the inevitable march of technology - we see a new GPU released at the high-end of the price spectrum and some subset of it will find its way to the low-end. The slow drizzle of cards in this series started with the 580 and 570, based on the same Fermi architecture as the GTX 400 cards (with some improvements in efficiency), continued with the GTX 560 Ti in January and with the GTX 550 Ti that we are seeing today.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti Launch Review (Palit and Zotac) @ HardwareHeaven.com
Over the last year or so one of the more popular models in the mainstream area has been the GeForce GTS 450, a card which many consumers saw as offering a good balance of features and performance for the price. As the NVIDIA product catalogue changed, seeing the release of the GTX 560, 570 and 580 this meant there was a reasonable gap between the GTS 450 and the 460/560 Ti and today we see the release of a product designed to improve on the GTS model while filling the space below the higher specification cards.

MSI GeForce GTX 550 Ti 1GB Cyclone II Video Card
Last week we were looking at AMD release a new card that manages to take top spot as the fastest VGA card currently on the market. From one extreme to another, we're checking out the new baby mid-range card from NVIDIA today in the GTX 550 Ti. Like us, though, NVIDIA understand that $699 cards aren't for everyone, and really, where the bread and butter is for these companies is the mid-range market, as that's what really sells.

So the question is, how's the GTX 550 Ti? Well, we're not sure yet, but we're going to find out soon enough. Like most mid-range models lately, though, NVIDIAs partners have come out hard and fast with models that move away from the reference design with the one we're looking at today coming from MSI and using the new "Cyclone II" cooler.

NVIDIA's GeForce GTX 550 Ti: Coming Up Short At $150
Throughout the lifetime of the 400 series, NVIDIA launched 4 GPUs: GF100, GF104, GF106, and GF108. Launched in that respective order, they became the GTX 480, GTX 460, GTS 450, and GT 430. One of the interesting things from the resulting products was that with the exception of the GT 430, NVIDIA launched each product with a less than fully populated GPU, shipping with different configurations of disabled shaders, ROPs, and memory controllers. NVIDIA has never fully opened up on why this is – be it for technical or competitive reasons – but ultimately GF100/GF104/GF106 never had the chance to fully spread their wings as 400 series parts.
