New phone will reportedly draw features from the Android HTC M8 and/or A9, be dubbed "HTC W8"

From DailyTech:
The new Windows Phone 8.1 device is reportedly dubbed the HTC W8 (or possibly the HTC One W8). It will allegedly incorporate the Duo 3D cameras found in the latest HTC One M8, as well as the M8's BoomSound speakers. Some say the new Windows Phone will be similar hardware-wise to the M8, while more sources seem to be leaning towards the device packing a mid-range spec, analogous to the upcoming HTC A9, an Android smartphone.

Microsoft recently dropped licensing fees for Windows Phone, making the platform much more attractive to OEMs. Using Windows Phone over Android can save OEMs up front anywhere from $5 to $15 USD, due to the cost of licensing Microsoft patented software features found in Google Inc.'s (GOOG) Android OS.
