Seagate GoFlex Desk 3TB External USB Hard Drive Review
Everything USB posted a review on the Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex Desk External USB Hard Drive
When it comes to storage the old motto "Bigger. Faster. Better. MORE!" is in full effect; or at least Seagate seems to think so as their FreeAgent GoFlex Desk just got a huge storage boost! Today, I am going to look at their all new THREE Terabyte version of their Desk version which not only boast customizability but an industry leading capacity. To me the questions I want answered are: is this down right awe inspiringly huge portable storage device as good (or better) as its little brother the GoFlex Portable; and does all that size come with any downsides? Let's find out!Read more
The Verdict:
With a footprint no larger then previous models, the 3TB Seagate GoFlex Desk is a great portable device that is just as customizable as its smaller GoFlex siblings. It is actually fast for a hard drive based external storage device, thanks to its denser platters and aftermarket USB 3.0 adapter accessory. More importantly, this one drive should easily satisfy the majority of customers out there as 2.72TB of usable space is MASSIVE! It is a shame that the stock configuration is still only USB 2.0 and it only has a two year warranty.
The Good:
+ Quick and easy upgradeability
+ Portable yet stable design
+ Nice long cables
+ Software is preloaded on the drive, no need of CD/DVD to install it
+ Seamless automatic data backup options
+ Seagate XT 3TB drive inside
The Bad:
- Proprietary cable means expensive cable replacement
- No active cooling and not much vents
- Drive runs bloody HOT after extended use
- Only 2 years of warranty
- Replacing hard drive will be difficult
- No power on / off switch for drive

Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF1 Micro Four Thirds Camera Review
Futurelooks posted a review on the Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF1 Micro Four Thirds Camera
To be honest, when Micro Four Thirds format was announced, I couldn't really see the point. Sure, the cameras were slightly smaller but not by much. If you look at older Micro Four Thirds cameras like the Panasonic G1 and GH1, they're smaller than something like a Canon Rebel but not by a serious amount. You still can't fit them comfortably inside a jacket pocket and you're missing some comforts we are used to on a traditional DSLR, not to mention the fact that introducing a whole new camera system means people have to purchase a whole new set of lenses. However, the most recent batch of m-4/3rds bodies have been sleeker, more attractive and more fully featured in comparison, showing that the format is evolving into something that is if not a competitor to the old guards of Canon and Nikon, then definitely a niche alternative with a legitimate market share.Read more

Hardcore gamers know the importance of quality sound when they are playing online or during gaming tournaments. Plantronics has always had their back and their new GameCom 777 headset gives them Dolby 7.1 virtual surround to add depth and clarity to their gaming experience. The GameCom 777 features a lightweight frame, noise cancelling technology, and 7.1 sound to make any movie, Skype conversation, or gaming match sound like your in a virtual surround sound theater.Read more
There were many strengths and weaknesses that worked with this headset in some FPS games, however some results we recorded didn't work so well. The overall construction, design, and price point fell perfectly into the proper class for these type of headphones. The noise cancelling microphone that were concealed skillfully in the bridge of the headset was a stroke of genius on Plantronic's part. However, there were a couple small issues that made me think basic users might have a difficult time using these headphones.

TechReviewSource.com posted a review on the Lenovo IdeaCentre A300
The Lenovo IdeaCentre A300 is an all-in-one desktop with a unique design for a fairly inexpensive price. It has a 21.5-inch display with a 2.2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo CPU running 4GB of memory and a 500GB hard drive. The lack of an optical drive, however, does raise some issues, but it makes a good multimedia device for the home.Read more

Today we are looking at a new micro-ATX from the folks at In Win, the Dragon Slayer. The Dragon Slayer is a mATX mini tower case intended for enthusiasts. It is smaller than the traditional ATX mid tower, yet can still accommodate a full length video card and up to a 150mm tall CPU cooler. Join us as we take a look at the Dragon Slayer.Read more
The Dragon Slayer from In Win is a very nice little case. The metal mesh front and side panels give it a nice look and allow for good air flow. With the Dragon Slayer falling in the $75-100 range its got a fair amount of cases to compete with. Unlike most mini towers in its price range the Dragon Slayer has more cooling, can accommodate larger coolers and has the 5th expansion slot that most mini towers don't have. The other side of that coin is that when most are looking at a mini tower they are looking for a small case...
