With October fast approaching as the date Microsoft will release its first update for Windows 10, Gabe Aul has let it be known that build 10550 is looking like a good candidate for the fast ring

As Aul points out, it's only three builds newer, but each build usually comes with many bug fixes and enhancements as the company pushes on to ready Windows 10 Wave 2 for a fall release, expected sometime early on in October.

With that date now only a few weeks away, Microsoft will want to get as much feedback from Insiders on the update as possible.
