Sims 2 graphics problem!er

well recently I installed sims 2 bon voyage and then after I started the game the weirdest thing happened. the houses, the ocean, the cars and my sims everything, got divided into stripey and unclear lines, but when I moved, zoomed it momentarily went normal and the moment I stopped it again went strange.

sims 2 installation error

i used to be able to install The Sims 2 with no problem but because of my drive c running low on disk space, i uninstalled it. now i am having trouble installing it back. whenever i get to disc 3, an error message pops up.

I run a single XP machine, so normally My Network Places doesn't contain anything except the Microsoft top-level folder icons. But a moment ago, I happened to look in My Network Places and found a 4KB folder entitled assets on www.

no usb ports are working

heyy there ive been asked to help fix a friends computer. and i need a little guidance. she has somehow managed to stop all the usb ports from working. she has reinstalled windows and both service packs and still nothing.

I'm planning to replace my current, partitioned 80GB ATA100 hard drive with a 250GB ATA100 hard drive that I'll similarly partition. As before, it'll have both Win2K and WinXP put on it, in a multiboot arrangement.
