USB Device Not Recognized (External Hard Drive)

I have seagate 500 gig external usb hard drive which i have been using on my Toshiba equium A200-15l laptop running windows vista home premium. I have used these two for about a year now without any problems and suddenly when i powered on my hard drive i got the following error message USB Device Not Recognized One ...

has anybody tried this? its supposed to get betrayal in antara to work on xp (it almost works. . . ) but when I am in combat it gives me an error and exits the game it says the GAMESYSR. DLL file is the problem, so I replaced it with the original one but that did not help.

having trouble installing fallout tactics

i recently obtained FOT for the pc and tried to install it, however when put into my computer an error comes up on the screen error performing inpage operations. i am pretty sure that my comp is not the problem because i have tried to install on two different comp and i get the same problem on both of them.

We recently upgraded all clients in our domain to IE7. Since then, users cannot view YouTube properly. Firefox works, but I don't want users using Firefox; one more application that I don't need to continuously monitor security updates with.

problem installing Sims 2 on disc 3...

Ok so i went out and got sim 2 for my PC. . i meet the installation reqs. but for some reason on disc 3 at 76% it says, A problem occured when trying to transfer the file 'TSData\Res\Sound\RnB. package' from the media.

Hi guys, i just made a little hack with NFS4 : High Stakes get the exe here, extract the iso from your cd, edit the iso with UltraISO - for example, update nfshs. exe with this new one, save image, burn image to cd, install, play NFS4 on XP.

Hey folks, I'm trying to install the new Patch for StarCraft (w/Broodwars), v. 1. 16, it's the digital download from the Blizzard store. Anyway, apparently I have to install it in safe mode (the game) and then install the patch in safe mode.

Folks, I am looking for a utility or a method using which i can identify whether an executeable is built for 32 bit or 64 bit. For example: In unix, 'file <exe-name>' would tell me whether the exe is a 32 bit one or a 64 bit.

Hey Everyone! I have a somewhat minor dilemma. The blue screen of death has been knocking on my door alot recently, exept my system does not have ANY problems with the motherboard overheating etc. that would be the standard reasoning behind it.

So i will try to describe this problem im having the best i can. I took my old hard drive out of my computer and put it in my newer computer. The newer computer has a existing hard drive which i have plugged in as master and the older hard drive is plugged in as slave.

Hi, I have FF8 game discs for the PC, and for the most part they work fine. But occasionally the game just will not run when I load my saved game - the music will skip and I'll just get a black screen.

Explorer.exe crashes on Win XP PRO SP3 suddenly

Suddenly explorer. exe from Windows XP SP3 PRO crashes when I' m trying to make a right click to a shortcut, an exe file or a folder. The error is the following, on the picture : I ran Spyware Doctor and Spybot Search & destroy and I found no infections also I have tried the SFC /SCANNOW order but nothing found.
