MSDTC - Update causes Apps to fail

I have 2 applications I use rather much, the Visual Basic 4 IDE and Windows media player Version 2. If I were to update the MSDTC in any regard (either by KB913580 or Installing. Net Framework 2. 0+) the apps will fail to start.

Ntloader missing message when trying to install xp

Hey, I hope someone can help me. I am trying to install win. xp pro and I keep getting a message Ntloader missing immidiatly after the boot up sequence ends. The Hard disk have been formatted and they are in NTFS format.

This is gross personalization of computers, but mine seems to be biased against, of all things, the long extict company 3DO. When I put the disc into the drive, my computer puts up the innocent, yet incredibly annoying, unknown publisher window.

Hello everyone. I have a weird problem. I had XP and Vista installed on different partitions of a SATA2 320Gb Seagate and everything worked great. Also I had a grub boot loader, don't know how I installed it but there it was and I only discovered it now, at the same time my problem appeared.

Has anybody noticed these new CPU's reporting their core frequency different to the OS ??? I just upgraded my Phenom Model 9850 to this new CPU and now both Vista and Windows 7 reports a core speed of 800MHz instead of 3.

Okay guys, I tried everything, I saw another post about this but none of its guides worked. so now i'll give u a precise action of what i did: 1. Inserted CD1 of Red alert into the DVD/CD drive. 2. Cancled the auto run and went into explore the disk.

I have successfully installed the red alert 1 which i downloaded the disk files from internet (allied disk and soviet disk) when i run the RUNGAME. EXE, it says PLEASE INSERT A RED ALERT CD INTO THE CD ROM DRIVE FYI, i have burned a cd named CD1_ALLIED_DISC but still it require disk.

if anyone has tried running NHL 2003 with WMP 9 installed, i'm sure you've noticed that it won't work. when you open the program, the media player interface will load and stay there. don't fear, there's a simple fix.

The game looks and runs great until some Japanese-looking code appears at the top of the screen with every key push.
