I've had The Sims Deluxe Edition for years now. I played a lot when we first purchased it and then stopped for a while. A few months ago, I got back into playing it regularly, and it was still working just fine.

I believe fan on my Power supply or something broke since when i play a game such as WC SC CS or D2, shortly after my computer shuts down. . So i tried to open up the computer so i can replace the power supply but i cant seem to open it.

I think I have looked everywhere to find a usb wireless adaptor that will work without ndiswrapper. Linksys, Netgear, Actiontec, and couple others all replied they dont support. Isn't there somebody in 2009 that has a ready to use usb adaptor? I would like not to spend over $30, but.

Help recovering from heur virus

I am running xp sp2 and contracted the heur virus. I tried repairing xp from original CD in the install menu but not all required files are available, when I skip these files there are networking and sound problems.

Windows XP Problem Red Alert 2 & Yuri Revenge

Red Alert 2 suddenly stopped working, no new software added, no XP updates, no hardware changes. When I start playing it, when the character talks the games freezes for about 5 seconds and then carries on.

I am making an application in Visual Basic and i dont want that process to be displayed in the Process bar. . . is there a way by which i can hide that process from the process bar by any registry Tweaks or please give me a suggestion in the VB codes by which i can hide it from the Process bar of the Task Manager.

I've read all the posts on this and i can't get it to run. I have windows xp sp3 I change to compatibility mode for windows 95 and when i left click the install icon it has the little hourglass come up and then nothing happens.

Hi there i just installed Win7 to dual boot alongside vista, problem is the MBR doesnt have an option to boot vista even though i have checked and the Vista partition is still there any ideas how to edit the MBR and add a line to be able to boot Vista again Thanks in advance P.

I have just downloaded Skype and pruchased my first videocam. On running a test session with my son we are both receiving badly pixelated video. We are both with the same ISP are running the latest version of Skype and both have a Logitech E3500.

Hope somebody can help me. It's an old topic. Have a 3 year old WD Passport and it worked fine so far. It's formatted to NTFS. I gave it to a friend to copy some of my stuff from the drive. She has Vista on her laptop, I have XP.

I have been experiencing this problem lately with my flat panel monitor. I was working with Jasc Paint Shop Pro 9 printing some large photos. When I closed out of PSP 9 and went back to the desktop the screen was white.
