why does my network run slow?

I have 2 computers with one internet (dsl) connection, when i just run one computer it runs very fast, but when i run them together using my wireless netgear router they both run EXTREMELY slow, sometimes worse than dial up (especially when we play games in yahoo).

Usb 2.0 devices not recognized...

I have a slightly older pc (motherboard is about 5 years old) Until 3 months ago, both the 2. 0 and 1. 1 USB ports were working fine. I do not know what exactly happened, but, now, the only way it will recognize anything plugged into the 2.

I am not asking how to turn this off; I have a deeper question. If I did not install any software and I am not connected to the internet (thus no automatic program in installations are possible) why should I keep getting this balloon notification? I rarely do I connect to Internet.

Hie Guys l have an asus p5gl-tmx/s motherboard on my computer. the problem started wen the computer was rebooting itself repeatedly, so l stripped it componenet by component and rebuilt it again and formatted the hard drive on another computer.

running might and magic 8 on windows xp the easy way go to and download the might and magic 8 patch by gray face and unzip it in your mm8 file and u should be able to run mm8 with no dramas

IE8--Gif's problem

Hey all, it's been awhile. The problem I'm having is I finally decided to update to IE 8 incase my Firefox went down for some reason. Now IE 8 claims that only it can show gif files for me. I've tried using my normal viewing program, Vue Print Pro32 and it won't show gif's anymore.

I recently downloaded resident evil 1 for my computer, and after some tweaking, got it to run. The problem is, however, that while the first play-through went fine, every time after it, there is absolutely no sound.

Nocturne won't run in XP

I just got this game, even though it was released in 99 I think. It installs fine and then when I double click the icon to play, it just acts like its going to start, then it flashes a black screen real quick and goes back to the desktop as if nothing has happened.
