cisco VPN client cannot connect to VPN gateway

I use cisco vpn client ver 4. 6 in win XP and try to connect to VPN gateway that have public IP. My computer is connected by direct cable to a router. And this router is connected to internet by PPPoE.

How can I set up the computer(win XP) and router in order to expose the computer to internet. So, public can fto in and out to this computer. The computer is connect to the router that use PPPOE to access internet.

sims 2 DirectX 9.0c error message help!

Sims 2 apartment life worked fine last week, but when i tried playing it today a pop up keeps comming and it says Failed to find any DirectX 9. 0c compatible graphis adapters in this system! Pleas emake sure you have a DirectX 9.

I want to set up internet accounts for users at my workplace whereby each user will have to log in to use the internet so that l can log network usage inorder to control the network. l use a linux based server with a proxy server and my users are using windows pcs.

Problems Getting a Visioneer Scan into PaperPort

Here's my problem: 1. I insert a sheet to be scanned into my Visioneer Strobe XP 200 scanner. 2. A scan window appears and the scan proceeds to the end. 3. The window freezes (cannot close it in any other way than using the Widows Task Manager.

WIN2000 Pro Drivers / HP Deskjet 720C

PC w/WIN 2000 Pro (v5. 0); HP Deskjet 720C Series - printer seems to be working fine, but when I click on the printer icon a Printer Driver Problem: Data required by the printer driver cannot be found or has been corrupted message shows up; as best I understand things, the driver issue is WIN 2000 related, not HP.

I'm currently planning the build of a new Windows PC, to replace my slow, 10-yr old machine. Pretty much all of the hardware will be different, so I'm going to have to install my WinXP SP2 (32-bit) and other software from scratch and then apply the appropriate updates again.

Hi all of you intelligent people out there-maybe you can help me figure out how to get my windows media player to work. I have tried to reinstall WMP but the bios wont let me do a full uninstall and i am a little camera shy when it comes to going into there and changing the value for WMP to work.

I use Malwarebytes Antimalware regularly http://www. malwarebytes. org/mba and havent had an infection found in about a year. Yesterday i scanned after about a month and i saw 12 infections ! MBAM said it could not clean a few infections: Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.

External Hard drive not showing up.

when i plug my external hard drive itâ€™s not showing up so i did the whole computer management thing but my external hard drive doesnâ€™t show up on disk management it only shows my drive c: and cd drive so no matter what i do i canâ€™t change the letter for my drive to reformat it to fat32.

Warhammer 40k Chaos Gate on XP - help?

I just recently got the Warhammer 40k Chaos Gate game from a friend after waiting for 2 years, and getting a new computer in the meantime, which runs on Windows XP professional. After installing the game and trying to play it, the screen went black for a few seconds and returned to the original desktop screen.

OK so i recently finished playing dk1 which was enough of a chore to get working on vista. So I downloaded dk2, got through the install just fine, and managed to play the game for a bit. The game crashed on me after i tried to restart a level, a number of fixes for which i've found and will try if the problem persists.
