I have a problem running this game on Windows XP. The game runs fine but the sound is the problem. There is no sound and all the sound settings in the game are greyed out. I have tried different compatibility layers but to no avail.

I have Server 2003 running on my DC and everytime I log into the domain from a workstation it takes forever to login, Also have this problem when trying to access shared folders for the first time after a reboot or an idle period.

I Set up a friend of mine's computer and gave Admin access & created an account for his children with limited access. They wanted to install some chat programs and needed the Admin password. Like a newby he gave it to them and they changed it and said she forgot it.
Windows NT Memory Monitoring Software?

Have been using the standard Windows Task Manager but am wondering if there is a better app to monitor WinNT memory use? Would be interested in any suggestions concerning other apps. Thanks Ken.

Working on a Dell laptop for a friend of a friend. WinXP takes forever to boot. . . over 3 minutes. Also takes about the same amount of time to shut down. There is no task bar, CTRL+ESC does nothing.

OS is Win2000 I installed a 500g drive but was limited to 137g Re installed os on 5g drive. Then installed SP4. Used MaxBlast to clone to big drive. Still only 137. Edited registry on 5g drive for EnableBigLba.

whenever i use tie fighter 95 in in its install screen i get the error message 16 bit sub system the porgramme is unsuitable for running ms dos or windows applications or something like that. I love this game, so could someone please help me?.

Very strange, Everything I plug into my USB ports on desktop lights up and is recognized but nothing happens. For example, I have a logitech mouse that lights up red when correctly connected to the USB port, and this happens, but the mouse will not move on the display.

Hi Guys, I am using Batch file to call another program with some parameters and stuff. When I do this, it shows the ugly dos window and my program executes properly. The DOS window doesn't go away until my program is finished and it looks very ugly.
