How do I force Windows to delete a file

I downloaded a corrupt video file and i want to delete it from my system. but whenever i try to windows gives me an error saying another program is using the file >> i suspect explorer is trying to read the file but since it is corrupted, explorer keeps on trying to, and so i cannot delete it.

I recently checked my usb and found out that it had newfolder. exe and now it came in my komputer and now- task manager, folder options and run is disabled! pls help as fast as you can. . . . . . i tried many times in diffrent ways written in google,yahoo,bing etc.

Hey Well I dont have any problems setting up an advanced LAN, but i have some routers which refuses to work together. I would have used a switch instead, but i cant, så i have to use one router, disable the first DHCP server in router nr and retrieve ips from the second router.

FIFA 09 Soccer External Drive Problem

Hi there! Ive bought a brand new FIFA Soccer 09 game and it is working fine on my XP Computer. Then, I want to install the game, like all my PC game, on my Seagate 2 TO External Drive. The game install fine and play fine too but when I go to my Windows 7 computer the game do not run.

New hard drive & windows XP but no ports &

The hard drive on my HP laptop died. Of course I never burned the XP media ed. to a CD. They don't supply them anymore. The new hard drive came with a copy of XP Pro. I installed this per instructions but it seems to missing drivers or something.

I should have done this a long time ago. I had a family member use a version of Deamon tools to create a virtual cdrom drive on my PC to allow a game to be played my mult users in a home network. In doing so he bypassed my actual cd/dvd/rw drive.

hi, i don't know if this is the right forum but my norton protection centre just told me that my 'intrusion prevention' system is off. (don't know why 'cos i'd never turn owt off) i clicked on the red off word and 'turn on' and 'configure' came up.

Is there any way of cycling through the list of applications backwards, using the cool switch (alt+tab) feature in Windows? It's really annoying when the program i want to access is behind the program that has the focus on the alt+tab list and i have to scroll through the whole lot.

Woke up this morning and my keyboard stopped working

Basically woke up and my keyboard won't type anything. The keyboard is connected to the usb port and was working fine yesterday. Further inspection in device manager reveals that it is meant to be working fine.

I recently got Kerio firewall (freeware version). My computer seems to be talking to itself, especially a program called svchost. Should I allow this to happen? I made a rule to deny it, and nothing's happened so far.
