Im working since Years with Acronis and never discovered any Problems under XP. Installed it 1 Month ago on my Vista Home Notebook and again no Problems.
For me great Software. Can say nothing good about Ghost.

This is the worst software I ever purchased. It worked as a demo, but then completely failed when I purchased it. Acronis recommended I uninstall and reinstall. DUH - like no one thinks to try that before calling.
So I had to remove this manually. The product has an incomplete uninstall and leaves all kinds of files and registry entries not to mention running services.
When I MUST clone I use Ghost, although I despise most N@rton apps as well. However bloated, at least they mostly work, not true of Acronis.
