You need to use WinXP's compatibility mode and set it to Windows 95 on the Bedlam.EXE file.
Then, you also need a slowdown utility, like the one found at http://www.the-underdogs.org/tools/turbo.zip to slowdown your computer, else you won't be able to use the mouse properly. Then it should work.

Bedlam do a
system check every time you run Bedlam.exe. You must rename
Bedlam.exw (Windowsversion) to Bedlam.exe.
