The PhotoSmart P1000 now comes with fully functional Windows 2000 Software. I recently bought one, and the box contained 2 cd's, one for Windows 95/98 and NT 4.0, and a seperate one for Windows 2000. The P1000 can now be considered fully compatible :) For those who bought this printer before Windows 2000 support was added, at 26-02-2001 Windows 2000 Software was made available for download, at the added URL.

The NT 4.0 drivers will work
only with the parallel version. To get the USB version working, install
the printer as a DeskJet 970Cse. This allows USB printing but limits you
to 600dpi
