For Install, I errored out until I changed directory to c:\games\\sierra\lightwin\
Possible problem with spaces in filename, not sure.
Initial windows install icon didn\'t work, after install completes do the following:
Copy SIERW.EXE from CD to install directory
Change start menu shortcut (or create a new one) pointing to:
C:\\Games\\SIERRA\\LIGHTWIN\\SIERW.EXE C:\\GAMES\\SIERRA\\LIGHTWIN\\RESOURCE.WIN
(Change directories according to how you installed the game).

The Windows version will not install. Install the DOS version instead by double clicking on Install.bat on the disk. Don't make a floppy disk, just install. Apply the two patches available from the Sierra site BEFORE you start playing.
To make it work, right click the C:\\SIERRA\\LIGHT.BAT file, choose Properties, click the Compatibility tab, and check the Windows 95 box. Finally, to fix the sound, install VDMSound and run the LIGHT.BAT executable with the default VDMS settings.
