I got Lion to work, you can get it to work by downloading Wolf and putting it in with Lion, then just reinstall Lion in with Wolf, it should work now, if not, try rebooting. I gotta warn you though, the game feels very 'incomplete', it boasts about mating and then raising cubs, taking prides from other lions, ect ect, even after beating another male lion into the dust, I don't get his pride. Wolf suffers from similar issues, the alpha wolf never mates, so, no pups. This effectively reduces the game to 'eat, sleep, drink, kill'.

Lion: A Wildlife Simulation is an older top-down-angled strategy game taking place on the African Plains where you control a pack of hungry lions and go after various kinds of prey (i.e. wildebeest, giraffe, gazelle.)
The game crashes Windows 2000, forcing total reboot. Ctrl, Alt, Del has no effect. Lion appears to be made for DOS/Win 3.1/Win95-only title.
Running the game under Windows XP Pro however is great, as long as you run the XP "Compatability-Mode" on the .EXE file firstand set graphics for 256 mode-only, with sound set for 8-bits.
I have yet to find a single game I cannot run in "Compatability-Mode" under Windows XP.
System Specs: GeForce4 Ti 128 DDR, 768 DDR Ram, ECS K7S5A Mobo, Athlon 2100+, WinXP Pro.
