Basic sound worked fine. Card
features were not available (rear channel/headphone)
Received also a message:
I thought you might want to point out that the mx300 will NOT work in
smp mode in nt4, not with the diamond nor the aureal reference drivers.
Diamond and Aureal have been promising a fix 'any day now' for about 6
months. They claim there are problems with "some users," but
i've yet to find anyone who can get it working properly. The good news
is that according to my friend at microsoft, the win2k final mx300
drivers WILL work in smp (although none of the beta ones do).
