When starting this game, I will either get a message telling me to insert the game cd, or the computer (windows vista 32bit home premium edition) will get the blue screen of death with the following information:
SSHDRV76.sys PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
I've looked up the SSHDRV76.sys and apparently it's part of the games copy protection system and apparently it doesn't always like Windows Vista, so NO, the game won't run at all on my Windows Vista desktop. However it will run just fine on my Windows XP HP Pavilion laptop (smooth as silk too), unfortunately, my laptop is our primary phone service (we use magic jack) so you don't want too much else happening on the laptop else you might experience break ups in phone calls, so it's pretty much just used for testing software to see if it will run, and for our small office phone system. Anyway, the game will bluescreen our windows vista 32 bit home premium edition and it doesnt appear that Ascaron is going to remove the copy protection even though the game is like 5 years old already and nowhere to be found on store shelves.

Have hit a blue screen wall.
Been playing for ages and don't want to give up after migrating from XP pro to Vista (new machine, not by choice)
I did find this Ascaron url for hints on necessary drivers:-
http://www.ascaron.com/gb/gb_service/gb_service_drivers.htm\
It might help someone

Haven't found a way past a .dll error running Windows Vista 64-bit. The game would install, but fail to run.
