The game run perfectly on my PC until recently with Win95 compatibility mode. Now, it acts as if it doesn't read config file. It starts with software refresh no matter what mode I selected previously and does not save/load a game. Expansions do not work at all, with error "Could not load color/pixmap.pcx".

These work fine on my XP system, you just have to "Explore" your CD drive and click "Setup.exe"

For a game written in 1997, this one installs and runs like a champ under Windows x64 in 2005. No issues whatsoever!

I have been able to run Quake II the full game on any operating systme I try to install it on. I cant however get either addon The Reckoning or Ground Zero to even install on XP? Can anybody else tell me how to fix this. It has something to do with the scripting needed to install the game but I know no more details than that.
