1) It works, but it takes some tinkering. You have to insert the following text into the R6 directory into your registry. Also, change the directory references using find and replace. 2) Download & install Application Compatibility Toolkit from MS, run QFixApp, check Win95VersionLie.dll and click Run. You might have to edit the registry that someone else posted (long post) regarding this game. (I first edited the registry, it didn't work, then applied the QFixApp patch which made it work.)

3) Install Rainbow Six on Windows 98 and export the registry for Rainbow six (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWARERed Storm Entertainment). You can do this by selecting Start...Run and the REGEDIT command at the prompt. Then get that file on your Win2k system and import the registry information into Windows 2000 by right clicking on the registry file and selecting "Merge". If you can not gain access to a Win98 system i have supplied one for you at the site listed above.
