Gameplay works fine.
Music in menus works fine.
Erratic keyboard response in menu. Keyboard issue solved with 95/98/ME Compatibility Mode.
Sound lag (5 to 20 seconds) is not fixed by setting the sound mode to Dolby or EAX. It is also not fixed by using the Compatibility Administrator Software to set EmulateDirectDrawSync and LowerThreadPriority (using EAX then crashes the game to Desktop, Dolby doesn't change anything).
Ingame music is switched off.
I am using german WinXP SP3 090206-1234 with RC2000 v6.

To enable EAX effects, you need to use the QFixApp or Compatibility Administrator Tool, and use a custom fix. This fix only needs to include:
EmulateDirectDrawSync
LowerThreadPriority
This will fix the erractic controls, and the sound lag issue. You will not need to select 'Dolby'. EAX will work for SB Live users. It is also recommended that you update to the patch 6.

Received the follow messages:
1) Works fine
2) Not in Windows 2000. Great in WindowsXp
3) Gameplay fine. Erratic keyboard response in menu. Keyboard issue resolved under 95/98/ME Compatibility Mode, but this caused in-game audio synch problems.
4) Gameplay fine. Erratic keyboard response in menu. Keyboard issue resolved under 95/98/ME Compatibility Mode, Sound Lag is fixed by setting the sound settings to Dolby.

That's fine, just fine. Well,
apart from the music in the menus not being quite perfect.
