Dead easy... with XP & SP2 all you have to do is go to safe mode... select 95 compatability mode for the .exe files... start the install.... when that is complete... reboot and then complete the setup etc as you normally would. Told you it was easy.... took me 6 months to find this out.

You need to install the game on an 9x environment, then copy the whole installation directory to the XP one. Replace the existing dll file with the new one and launch the game.
