Install normally, then apply the Red Baron 3D Super Patch. Update the game to version 1.0.7.8 with another patch. Then, download and install XP_RB3D_start.exe found in the Utilities section at: http://rensg.sqhq.net/

These will load OK, and run through fine for one mission only. After that first mission you lose all sound in the game. Does not come back if you reboot.
