Huh. Works without VDMSound for me. I had to configure the sound in some folder in the Redguard directory, I believe... I don't have it installed anymore though.

DOS-based adventure game. Installs only with the InstallShield Wizard. Configures sounds successfully with VDMSound, but crashes on startup: 'Illegal access' error (direct hardware access disallowed by Windows).
