Had problems getting the game to work in Windows XP. The program simply quits after putting a word on the board and clicking Play. Fixed the problem by right-clicking the shortcut to start the game and selecting Properties in the menu. Clicked the Compatibility tab and checked the box 'Run in 256 colors' then clicked Okay. The game played fine then.
