works just fine in winxp and w2k. first download VDMSound, install it.open a command prompt and switch to full screen. configure sound, no midi. then bring up vdm (dosdrv) and use play.bat (fixes some screen corruption)

Might be specific to my computer but it swamped my ram (320mb) and then asked for more. Maybe possible with some sort of win 2k memory management.
