To make the demo work in
Windows 2000, two privileged instructions need to be removed from the
EXE (which should be 655,360 bytes). Use a hex editor to change the
sequence 0F 20 E0 to C1 E8 08 at offsets 0x715C0 and 0x715D1. Then the
game runs flawlessly.
