007:nightfire can't install --buildcode error pls help
This build of CD code is for Spearhead. This is an invalid build of CD code. Please fill out the ereg config form to obtain a valid CD code build. I found this at EA's support site. Its the exact same error as i get when i try to install nightfire (just replace the word 'spearhead' with 007:nightfire).

The recommended solution is ensuring no compatibility is applied and instructions are for XP.
This does not work for my win2000 nor is their a compatibility being applied.
Why am i getting this error??
it happens with both cd-roms that i have...
I have a geoforce 2 (using the latest offical det drivers)
(with spearhead i had to disable run32.dll to get the installation past crashing. Though i did not get this particular error)
