1000 Mbps Switches !

This is a discussion about 1000 Mbps Switches ! in the Windows Networking category; I was wondering how well 2 100Mbit LAN's connected with each other through a 1000Mbit optic fibre cable, use the bandwitdh of the optic cable. It will only be "better" if you have tons of traffic flowing between networks.

If this is not the case, you won't notice too much of a difference.

Or its probably better said that you won't notice an improvement which would warrant the massive amounts of money you would spend on the upgrade.
