1025 1028 etc empty system32 dirs

This is a discussion about 1025 1028 etc empty system32 dirs in the Everything New Technology category; i´ve about ten dirs in system32 that have all similar names and are empty except 1033 that contains the dwintl. dll file with a dialup icon i wonder if this dirs are really necessary and because i hate trash in my pc can any1 tell me if i can delete those dirs please feedback me.

Localization (language) files for a specific language which correspond to the number assigned to these folders. These folders remain empty unless Windows XP Professional is localized for this particular language.
 
An example of this would be Office 2000 and XP in USA use 1033 as their default.
 
I believe it would ok to delete them, yet I see no need as they are not occupying space.

i´ve installed ms_office_2000 ; but now i use OpenOffice.org
and i´ve uninstalled ms_office .
can i delete
C:\WINDOWS\system32\1033\dwintl.dll
file too ?

I believe that dll does application error reporting .... if you want to feel free ... if windows 2000 disagrees WFP will restore it.
