12x cdrom drives and RW

This is a discussion about 12x cdrom drives and RW in the Slack Space category; Me and my brother recently put together a Pentium 166mmx together with so leftover hardrives and stuff. I would like to try out some old games that I zipped up a long time ago on that computer but these old games are on CDRWs and wont work in that drive.

Me and my brother recently put together a Pentium 166mmx together with so leftover hardrives and stuff. I would like to try out some old games that I zipped up a long time ago on that computer but these old games are on CDRWs and wont work in that drive. I would burn it on a recordable but im like all poor people out there that don't have the money to waste my time... So if anyone knows how i can read RWS on (below 24x drive) could you tell me.

You need a piece of software call a "UDF" reader I believe.

UDF reader is included in the cd-rw, and it'll automatically ask you to install if a UDF reader is not presented. If this prompt didn't appear then the cdrom probably doesn't support CD-RW (most pre 95-96 drive doesn't)
