2theMax EP-4B2A is the latest mainboard for the Pentium4 Socket 478 based on the i845 chipset. Last week, Intel officially introduced this new chipset, making the Pentium4 the mainstream by coupling it with SDRAM. In the past, we have reviewed the Pentium 4 mainboard but they are coupled with RAMBUS. RAMBUS is definitely more expensive and performs much better than SDRAM. With Intel introducing the 845+SDRAM, and the price cuts, it definitely makes it more affordable to those who prefer Intel (as you know certain applications runs better on Intel. e.g. Media Encoder).
