3COM 3C900B-TPO BSOD in Q3
This is a discussion about 3COM 3C900B-TPO BSOD in Q3 in the Windows Hardware category; Hi People, I keep getting a BSOD when I play Q3 Arena. It's basically a STOP error message that identifies file el90xbc5. sys. My old NIC died on me recently and was given a new NIC by my ISP cable provider.
Hi People, I keep getting a BSOD when I play Q3 Arena. It's basically a STOP error message that identifies file el90xbc5.sys. My old NIC died on me recently and was given a new NIC by my ISP cable provider. I blew away the old drivers in \\winnt\system32\drivers and \\winnt\system32\dllcache and installed the newest drivers from 3COM. Lots of BSOD, so I reverted to the "signed" drivers on the Win2k disk. All is well except for Q3. My system is AMD K6-2 450, 128 RAM, 13 GB HD, and dual booting Win98 SE on C and Win2k Pro on D. Both FAT32. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
