3dfx 5500

Hey chaps just kicked out a TNT 2 Ultra for a Voodoo 5500 (cos it was very cheap) but cannot get games to work under glide, D3D ok, OpenGL ok but Glide crashes back to desk top when involked. 1. 04 drivers, no O/clocking at all.

I had that problem when I changed from a Voodoo 1 based card to a Voodoo 3 card, I had to format my hard drive to remove all reference to my Voodoo 1 card, it worked nicely so I suggest you do the same to your computer.

Err thanx but this machine has never had a Voodoo before so no old drivers lurking and I really don't want to take such drastic action unless forced to. Any other suggestions??

Click on 3dfx FAQ & get the 3dfx Uninstall
I made.
But I beating it has something to do with CPU.
