Hi,

Is there a way to quickly reboot using the keyboard in WinXP? When I wanted to restart in WinME, I just hit Ctrl-Alt-Delete twice. But it doesn't work in XP.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

OP
Don't worry, you were an *** "on this one".

I did not curse at you two, so I do not expect words like that to be directed at me.

Thank you.

When administering a remote system, it sure is hard to push the reset button...hence the restart script, all you Brainiacs with the attitude towards ahearnb...

asidie;

taking it like a man means face-to-face with someone; verbal crap over the 'net mean nothing.

anyway, the point of this forum is to solve people's issues, not berate them for questions.

feel like making a point of it ? feel free to PM me with details of where you want to meet, we'll have a friendly chat.

i'll be at dahlonega,GA,this thursday; i'll travel within a 500 mile radius this coming weekend, if you'd like to take up my offer of that chat regarding any issues you may have.

if not, i fully expect you to respond in this forum - i'll take that as a self-admitted lack of follow through.

best regards,
