This is a discussion about A way to reboot quickly? in the Windows Software category; Hi, Is there a way to quickly reboot using the keyboard in WinXP? When I wanted to restart in WinME, I just hit Ctrl-Alt-Delete twice. But it doesn't work in XP. Any ideas? Thanks. Brad.

check technet there was an article on how to make a javascript file to reset. and yeah [an apple a day keeps the doctor away].

When administering a remote system, it sure is hard to push the reset button...hence the restart script, all you Brainiacs with the attitude towards ahearnb...

anyway, the point of this forum is to solve people's issues, not berate them for questions.
feel like making a point of it ? feel free to PM me with details of where you want to meet, we'll have a friendly chat.
i'll be at dahlonega,GA,this thursday; i'll travel within a 500 mile radius this coming weekend, if you'd like to take up my offer of that chat regarding any issues you may have.
