a7v333 asus and raid
This is a discussion about a7v333 asus and raid in the Windows Hardware category; I have serius problems with winxp and a7v333 raid. When I try to install xp with raid it can not copy files from the cd to the raid disks. But if I diable the raid and install xp on a normal disk the problems is there too.
I have serius problems with winxp and a7v333 raid. When I try to install xp with raid it can not copy files from the cd to the raid disks. But if I diable the raid and install xp on a normal disk the problems is there too. Speciel big files are causing problems. I run with a bios 1006. I make an setup disk with promisdrivers from the cd.
I have tryed severl cd with diffrent xp on.

Heres the usual question that is asked:
Did you hit f6 and specify additional devices when installing XP? And form that did you install the MBPromiseFastTrak Lite driver?

I have loaded the promise drivers and used f6.
And no the disk is attatched to the idecontroler not the raid, I disabled the raid too.
