Abit AT7 with 8500 stops booting after memory upgrade and disks added

This is a discussion about Abit AT7 with 8500 stops booting after memory upgrade and disks added in the Windows Hardware category; help!! System config that worked AT7 with gigabyte 8500 , 512MB and 60 GB Harddrive. upgarded to 1GB mem and 2X 120GB disks in a RAID 0 config. the system no longer boots. Stops at the XP screen with the load bar.

System config that worked
AT7 with gigabyte 8500 , 512MB and 60 GB Harddrive.
 
upgarded to 1GB mem and 2X 120GB disks in a RAID 0 config.
 
the system no longer boots. Stops at the XP screen with the load bar.
Safebot indicated MUP.sys is not loading.
 
I have removed all upgraded disks and memory and now fails to boot permenantly.

Actually, a call to Microsoft might be in order. You changed enought of your configuration to cause XP not to recognize your machine and it makes XP think that you are trying to install it on a second machine.
