AC97 soundcard driver causes WIN NT mem dump

This is a discussion about AC97 soundcard driver causes WIN NT mem dump in the Windows Hardware category; I am using the C-media CMI9738 AC'97 Audio Ctrlr driver, but this causes NT to dump at boot. Any thoughts anyone ??.

I am pretty sure it's NT 4.0 (build 4.00.1381 to be precise). I know it's a driver problem so I was wondering if anyone could direct me to the right one.
