Acer 620U scanner and Win2k

This is a discussion about Acer 620U scanner and Win2k in the Windows Hardware category; Has anyone had success using the acer beta usb drivers for this scanner on win2k build 2195. I cannot seem to get it to work. When the twain program comes up, it never finds the scanner. However, if I power up the scanner, win2k asks for the install software, which installs without difficulty.

I had the same problem, and after trying and trying... I went searching... with success!

ftp to www.api.com.tw, login anonymous,
and in the FAEIMG directory is a file 2kbeta.zip. I set it as my driver, and it actually works!

Thanks for the tip. I couldn't get it to work. I kept getting the message "required part of inf missing"
Any thoughts?

Thanks

Yes, I am using that file. Could you email a copy of your inf file to me? Maybe mine is corrupt somehow.

Thanks,
