Acpi
This is a discussion about Acpi in the Windows Hardware category; I changed from ACPI to Standard PC, only to find out that Power Management is toast. One of two things: Is there a way to get Power Management in Standard PC mode? OR Is there a way to get ACPI back without having to reinstall? Thanks.

Lemme guess why you changed: there's a bunch of devices on 1 IRQ.
You can go from Standard PC to ACPI, but make sure you enable it in BIOS once you do the switch. Also, make sure to uninstall as many devices as you can before switching to minimize the fuss. As a precaution, back-up first.

OP
the whole point is that I don't know how to switch, when I go to Update Driver, it only has Standard PC listed, and won't give me back ACPI.
OP
nevermind, figured it out.
Thanks
