Across The Rhine problems

I was just wondering whether anyone here can help me with the problems I'm having trying to install 1944 Across The Rhine on my system. I'm running XP Professional, on an AMD Athlon 2000+, GeForce3 Ti200, Audigy, 256mb DDR, etc.
Hey all. I was just wondering whether anyone here can help me with the problems I'm having trying to install 1944 Across The Rhine on my system. I'm running XP Professional, on an AMD Athlon 2000+, GeForce3 Ti200, Audigy, 256mb DDR, etc. etc.
Basically I've tried just about everything to even get it to install, but it still won't. No matter what compatibility settings, whether its the command prompt, safe mode or normal windows, etc. etc. it still won't work. I click on install and all it does it the screen goes dark for a second, then it flicks back to explorer after doing nothing. Someone, please help me )
