I have onboard adaptec AIC-7890/7891 and it works fine.
I wonder if a regular Adaptec SCSI 50 pin AVA-2904 Fast PCI Kontroller works in XP.

(I need SCSI kontroller if I get nforce)

I have an Adaptec 2920C SCSI card and after I put it in the top slot of my MOBO it worked fine.
The only problem I have is my GameTheater XP.

There 2 different adaptec 2920. The 2920 and 2920A are original Future Domain controllers, which will not be supported within W2K and XP. The 2920C is an adaptec product, which is supported for W2K and they maybe XP-drivers in about 6 - 8 weeks. adaptec is still waiting, that Microsoft certifies the SCSI-drivers.
