Added a second drive, now i cant delete files from either...

This is a discussion about Added a second drive, now i cant delete files from either... in the Windows Hardware category; I just added a 8oG drive to my system, set it up as NTFS and assigned it to drive D. . system sees the drive, I can write files to it, I just cant del them. . explorer hangs and eventually I have to task mgr to end it?? Anyone got any ideas.
